My guess is that this move by the others does not follow the bible verse “He that is without sin among you, let him cast the first stone at her.” It certainly never applied to the Moms for Liberty founder.
Three items I see in your post, and in the article.
One is that you cut pieces as you saw fit, and didn't include ellipses to indicate such. That means you misconstrued what was in the article.
Second is that the source is a Left Wing rag.
Third is the article, even being a Leftist Rag, did NOT support your assertion.
It more readily supports "berdee," in his response to your post.

You asked for a news source and you have it, now you don’t like the source. CD limits the length of articles posted from any source. Plenty of other news sources carried the same information, how about commenting on the details in the article rather than claiming “it’s a leftist source”.

No one knows who their partner is, she didn’t go to the press, these two were long time personal friends, so I’m at a bit of a loss as to what she had to gain here, by making their affairs known to the police.

He filmed himself having sex with a woman who is not his wife, possibly non consensually (the sex and/or the filming).
That goes way beyond the couple’s “personal lifestyle” and by definition took their sex life out of the privacy of their own bedroom. They took the risk of exposing their sex life, no one else.
Their campaigns on whatever they might be don’t erase that fact. He is chairman of the Florida GOP, whose platform strongly espouses Traditional Family Values. If you espouse that for everyone else, then surely it’s something you should abide by yourself. They obviously make little effort to do so.
You have no idea the political affiliation of their sex partner.

What she'd done, with the 3-way, was between consenting adults and not children. If it had been with children instead then she would be a hypocrite, among other things.
She was not speaking out against all LGBTQ, rather she was speaking out about certain individuals. That does not make her a hypocrite either. As I'd mentioned before, LGBTQ is not monolithic, why do you think they are? That to say something against one is to say something against all?
