Not farming. Only 5% of illegal aliens work in agriculture (Pew Research). FAR MORE are taking jobs from Americans in these top 3 industry sectors:

Professional, Business, and Other Services: 22%
Leisure and Hospitality: 18%
Construction: 16%

Depends on where you are. In Florida Leisure, Hospitality and Construction its probable around 50%, and has been for a long time.

The data is for the entire US.

It's a mistake to think illegal aliens are only taking jobs Americans don't want. For example, CA, NY, FL, IL, NE, and WY admit illegal aliens to their State Bar organizations, allowing them to practice law in those states, even though violating the law is supposed to be cause for removal from the Bar.

Did he?

1. From his inauguration to 2019 illegal immigration had doubled
2. He declared that illegal immigration under his watch was worst ever in US history. If that was true, then he didn't double it, but quadrupled it.

Yes, there are jobs which are understaffed even if Americans want those jobs, like nurses. It would be dishonest to claim Americans don't want to be nurses, because most nurses are in fact American, but there just aren't enough of them.

You people must live in an alternate reality. Trump had it under control and there were no caravans of illegals marching over the border and then being sent to places like NYC, Chicago, LA, and so forth.

Had the democrats and the RINO's cooperated with him, the wall would have been built, or at least enough of it at key places, that we would be in a lot better shape today. We could be working on things like deportations now, instead of still scratching our heads and saying, gee, what are we going to do about this never ending problem of people coming over the border who are going to be a drain on our economy and are going to take away services meant for legal citizens.

If you remember, the democrats LIED and said we didn't have even $5 billion available for border security - but yet we found hundreds of billions of dollars to send to the Ukraine - you know, to "protect democracy". ha ha

I seriously doubt that the Border policy will cost BIDEN the election.
Besides hearing it on the News this issue doesn't affect the Average American on a daily basis.

What has the Republican House done about this issue since they took control last year besides staring a Hunter's laptop?
Nothing.

The Election will come down to Kitchen table issues like the Economy and Abortion rights which affects way more Americans than if Juan Gonzales is jumping the Border.

Yet, that's not in the top 3 of sectors in which illegal aliens have taken Americans' jobs:

Professional, Business, and Other Services: 22%
Leisure and Hospitality: 18%
Construction: 16%

Nothing is ever going to be done about this. Americans are an unbelievably apathetic, lazy, and complacent people, and at this point, it would probably take a Stalinist police state to deport all these illegals anyway.

It very easily could cost Biden the election....this is a serious issue and it does impact large numbers of people on a daily basis....I've seen it up close and personal. If you can't see it it is because you choose not to.

As far as what has the Republican House done with the issue....not much, they have an extremely slim majority. That said, ask yourself, would it get through the Senate....which is controlled by Democrats? Of course not!
