Its a state facility and who is in charge of the state????? Why it's the corrupt Governor what a surprise..
Nothing reflects that the Jackson City leadership who you want to pin in on was running the show, the stench starts at the Capital...

Where "Some 215 bodies were found in a pauper’s cemetery behind a prison in Hinds County, Mississippi." that prison is Hinds County MS Penal Farm and "The prison is operated and maintained by Mississippi Department of Corrections (DOC)"
Spot on. These partisans trying desperately to blame things on one party specifically as if the other isnt just as corrupt are quite predictable. It's not surprising they want to blame the city (those durn progressive minorities) and let the state off the hook. The reality is it's Mississippi - they all are likely to blame in some way shape or form.

I have full faith in the state of MS from the Governors office down to the various Mayors offices etc. of both being corrupt and self serving.

Outside of a couple of pockets up north like NYC and CHicago, the deep south has a reputation for being nearly unrivaled at the top of US corruption.

Corruption?...... What does finding bodies in poorly marked graves have to do with corruption? Somebody get paid to do that?
It's just Democrats mistreating other Democrats; nothing new here at all.
