Looking at those pictures of the razor wire all by the Rio Grande indicates why a wall wouldn’t work in this area.
And yet walls and fencing seem to work all around the globe, protecting borders. Many currently under construction. The India/Bangladesh one is pretty impressive, at 3200 miles long.
Again, this why we can't have rationale conversations about the issues that face us in this country.

The federal government's number 1 job is securing this country -- from foreign enemies, criminals, illegal aliens, terrorists, and drugs....all of which have been coming through the southern border for three years.
The federal government's job as mandated by the Constitution is not to be a goodie bag distributor -- you know, robbing Peter to pay Paul, in exchange for Paul's votes. Their job is to keep the country secure.
I have believed that they are creating an army to destroy the country for many years now. By the time people stop being stupid enough to believe that what is happening is "incompetence," it will be too late.
It's too late now. What has happened will effect this country for decades. I'm floored at how so many are so ignorant to it.

Yes, you would think it could have been resolved locally, but they refused to remove the barriers for the Border Patrol to access the border and the boat ramps, so it escalated.
More to the story? Reading the comments here people don't know, or care to know, what the story is all about, they just parrot "Biden did this to keep the border open".
State employees cannot prevent Federal agents from doing their jobs. In this case Texas employees would not allow Border Patrol access the border, or their boat ramps. Its surprising the ruling was not 9-0 in favor for the Border Patrol, but politics probably kept some justices from making an unbiased tuling.
Maybe not this particular event, but this border disaster is definitely Biden and this administrations fault.

Apparently, "conservative" has come to mean "do what I want instead of following the law". True conservatives understand that the law is not always on their side, and accept the rulings the justices make.
Not sure what difference it makes if it’s Biden in the White House? It’s not cool to be cool with people dying needlessly, and I don’t care if it’s Mother Theresa, Nelson Mandela, or Jesus in the White House.

The asterisk after Biden's names is used by some to denote that there is a cloud over whether or not he legitimately won the presidency.
I do not believe that Biden lost the last presidential election, just answering the question as to what I understand the asterisk to mean.

He didn't lose and I'm not saying he did...he just didn't win it in the legal and correct way.
