The problem you have though is that not everyone is a core democrat no matter what which is maybe 25%.
When the polls come out early next week at the lastest after the report and the presser debacle....you are going to be seeing some really sour numbers.

Honestly, if the Democrats were smart, they would have Biden go into a black church, mumble through a few lines, and then appear in front of the press wearing black face. He would then attribute this change to be a Fesitivus Miracle, and he could then air his grievances for the rest of eternity.

I'm thinking that the DNC will have an WH resident aide serve him some tea late at night, like they did for the Pope in Godfather 3.
I'm not sure what the Dems are supposed to do with him getting old. Politics aside the man has no business being in the white house. They'll figure out a way to get him out. They have no use for him if he can't beat Trump, his approval numbers and polling shows that Trump might beat him.
I stated that Biden’s presidency has been successful, overall. Your post is mainly saying that Biden will lose reelection. I agree with you. Both things can be true. People have been slow to recognize the strong economy. Consumer confidence has only recently started to improve; it might be too little too late. Biden’s leadership regarding Ukraine is the type of thing that may only be recognized in retrospect, such as Truman’s Marshall Plan.
Uh, most are not living it yet in the here and now.

Biden is not unopposed l. New Hampshire didn’t even put him on the ballot.
Phillips is a strong candidate. RFK jr. Is a strong candidate, with mental dexterity, but democrats didn’t see excellence in him.
