And that just might be another reason the Dems are welcoming immigrants with open arms and wallets. If citizens start protesting by work stoppages of one kind or another, there will be others to take their places.

This is called "cutting off your nose despite your face." I don't believe this will be some big rally of truckers. These guys have families, kids to feed, schools to pay for, homes, bills.

It is just more performance tantruming, and will gain the truckers nothing. They might as well go hold their breath and stomp their feet.

Depends on how many don't care about paying their bills and putting food on the table.

Democrats should have thought about "cutting off your nose despite your your face" themselves before enacting disastrous policies that do in fact negatively impact families who have kids to feed, schools to pay for, homes, bills. We're supposed to believe that NOW, because truckers want to boycott NY that they (Democrats) actually care? LOL...You're not fooling anyone.

Im hoping it will as it’s the only way now that conservatives can gain any power anymore is for the truckers and business to LEAVE NY —boycott and hurt them financially.
That's what Abbot did with busing in all the illegals to NY —it hurt them financially and in the polls, and they FINALLY admitted there’s a crisis.

It does appear that Trump had nothing to do with this. This seems to be an idea that one or more truckers had come up with. Yet instead of blaming the truckers or NYC, the left will blame Trump. as usual.

Seriously, just what exactly are they hoping to accomplish, and for whom?
They are already starting to accomplish something, they are giving the travesty that NYC had committed more press, and more people are noticing. With this convoy and the strong possibility of businesses fleeing NY, the governor of NY had put her foot in her mouth when she'd strongly suggested that NYC had politically persecuted Trump.

They made a mistake that will make Trump look even worse than he already looks instead of doing him any good because it's political and it's specifically because of Trump that the boycott was suggested. Everyone will say that Trump instigated and encouraged it and it will be shades of January 6 all over again for Trump, so there'll be more backlash and damage for Trump and no good will come of it for Trump.

No good will come of it for the boycotting truckers either, in fact they will be doing more harm to themselves than to whoever they claim to be boycotting. The truckers who boycott NY have just given their respective employers a good, legitimate excuse to fire the whole lot of them and be glad to see them permanently gone and off their payrolls.

So the truckers will all be fired and worst of all for them they'll be blackballed throughout the whole trucking industry so they won't be able to do trucking work for anyone else either.
That's because nobody wants to hire troublemakers to work for them when they know the high risk is there that it will cause the employers to lose money in the future. The boycotters will be easily replaced by other truckers who mind their own business, want to work and don't believe in mixing their work and their income potential with their politics. The boycotters are very few in numbers, they certainly don't represent anything close to 70% of all truckers so they'll be like a drop in a bucket and they won't be missed.
Can you back up your "facts"? Do you have any statements from a number of these trucking companies that proves what you are claiming is indeed "fact"? Or is it just something you want to happen?

lol. Just let him do that at election time. That would be his demise for sure.

Go Truckers! They always seem to be our heroes.

In the meantime a few stores might get their deliveries a day late or so.
So, you are not in favor of peaceful demonstrations? Not your sides cup of tea?

I also think this has to do with the congestion pricing that is hurting truckers and businesses.
