Hard to believe this lawyer would show up on the stand unprepared to prove that he was Wade's attorney. He needs to show up and prove exactly when the attorney-client relationship started: a client representation contract, an invoice, a check, a record showing when a case file was opened. If you had any proof of the attorney-client relationship you would have it all ready to go for this hearing. Any judge would presume the absence of these things (or at least testimony about them) means there was no attorney-client relationship.
They only need an appearance of improper conduct. I think they meet that standard.
