Correct, its pretty much stop and frisk. We all know they won’t be “checking the bags” of any pretty little ladies compared to the criminal thugs who will need to be checked.

The left claimed it was racial profiling and unconstitutional last time it was done.

Lo and behold, they’re bringing it back.

I hope the National Guard is protected while in this crime ridden city.

A state Governor is using her states National Guard Troops for a situation within their state, its not like she is sending them out of state for political grandstanding the way other Governors have done......

Remember Florida is now sending theirs to do crowd control in Miami along with those sent out of state....

Let's throw Steve McQueen into the mix.

This is a good thing to bring in the national guard, and a great crackdown. Most of the subway crime as been mentally ill homeless people, coming up and getting into people's faces on the trains.

There has been a big uptick in police presence on the trains in the past several months, and it's been much better.

This will help continue to drive the crime down.
Yeah, remember when they reduced policing and stopped prosecuting fare jumping on the subway? Then reversed it? That's why it's getting better.

It's funny though because when we have these threads we get:
-Crime really isn't up
-It used to be much worse in the 80's and 90's
-Oh no, there weren't any policy, law or prosecutorial changes causing this.

I get it, politics and people never want to admit to anything but the gaslighting has been pretty extreme.

Why not just send in that army of social workers they told us was going to bring down crime, what happened to that idea?

I thought the police were to upsetting to the precious NYC snowflakes? So now the freaking military is called in?

They need to profile the usual suspects and leave the working people alone.
