You sure about that..Trump is being prosecuted for expressing his views (right or wrongly) on the 2020 elections.

That’s very different than this, this was a sanctioned GOP conference.

Well Trump succeeded in having her head FIRED! and her career is in the toilet. Not only that but have you seen Kathy Griffin lately? She could be the lead in a house of horror film.

I'll leave this up to the RNC and the voters.

Clearly tacky, people should show some class but the whole presidential effigy thing is commonplace anymore for 20 years +.

**shrug** Who cares? Sanctioned or not sanctioned. It's in poor taste IMO, but nothing different than what the left has been doing for years.

Goes back further then that. It's almost an American past time.

There has been plenty of tacky to go around over the years. Now personally, I thought the balloon was funny but I grow tired of the hypocrisy from both sides being alternately amused\offended by tacky protests.

Florida Democrats raised nearly $4,000 in less than one day to bring a giant inflatable of President Donald Trump as a crying baby to Florida Tuesday as Trump is expected in Sunrise for a campaign rally.

The giant balloon has been all over the U.S. and Europe for various protests and rallies and serves as a new icon of Democratic frustration over an embattled Republican President.

IMO it's been more commonplace in the last 20 than in the 90's. Shrug.

The very use of the word commonplace just means a change in frequency, it does not mean that it never occurred before....like by the Romans just to name one.

P.S. Effigy is about the least of worries for many Roman leaders lol...who were actually beaten, stabbed etc.

I see no issue with it. It is in poor taste, but about everything I see these days is. I think the biggest issue is that the Dems will condemn this, but not if the mask would have been of Trump. I am so tired of the double standard.

Kicking Biden's butt? I can certainly see the appeal, and it isn't like you can do it to him in person, so it works! This is kind of what Biden has done to our country, beat it repeatedly.
