I kinda' feel sorry for this kid but hey, he's a big boy and wanted to play with the big dogs. Of course I understand his need for good powder, lol.

Maybe he should stick to skiing and try out modeling or acting. He's certainly has the looks for it.

"Republican Louisiana Sen. John Kennedy on Wednesday pressed American Cross-Country Skiing Olympian Gus Schumacher on his social media posts at a hearing on climate change.

Climate change has been significantly impacting winter sports, Schumacher testified at the hearing on “The Nature of Climate Costs.” Kennedy told Schumacher that he likes to research witnesses who are advising the government and that he discovered controversial social media posts the athlete made in the aftermath of George Floyd’s death in 2020."

Carbon dioxide is a portion of just 1% of the air we breathe.

About 78% is Nitrogen, about 20.8 to 21% oxygen then that last one percent id carbon dioxide plus other things.

The burnable gas from an anaerobic digester is about 65% methane, 34% carbon dioxide, and a few other minor things, such as hydrogen sulfide and other gases.

That would be 0.035% or so CO2 or you could say 350 mg/L, a fancy way of saying ppm or parts per million.

They say we were at about 280 ppm in the 1700s and are at 400 ppm now, when others say it's 350 ppm, give or take 70, so go light your hairs on fire.

I know there was a time limit and they could only get so far into it, but it came across like that was his main concern.

I feel sorry for the kid too. It must be the dad in me.

But he's up there as an expert witness with the adults and should be treated as such. The real guilt lies with the people who put him up there. Those people are truly cold.

No pity. The unserious underwear model would send us back to the Stone Age if he thought it improve conditions on the slopes…for himself.

Kennedy isn’t great on everything, but here he is the perfect tool for the job.

The concentration of CO2 has doubled over the last century, even thought it’s a small percentage of the atmosphere it has a large impact.

N2 78.088 %
O2 20.949 %
Ar 0.93 %
CO2 0.03. %
Ne 0.0018 %
He. 0.0005 %
CH4 & Kr 0.0001 %

Ain't no doubling of nuthin. The difference is down in the noise.

Leave the planet alone. It can handle itself. Maybe if these idiots would park their gulf streams and quit judging us, maybe get a day job, we'd be better off.
