She should be more specific in her claims. Just looked at the roster and there are only 3 black players on the team. The rest are white. Was it black on white racism, or white on black? Of course, there's no reason for either but she needs to clarify what she's saying.
The reason they were in Idaho was because Spokane ran out of lodging. That's a city issue. They aren't large enough to accommodate the event.
From the article...
South Dakota State and UC Irvine were staying in Idaho, too, with hotel space in Spokane limited.
If you're saying that the event shouldn't be hosted in Spokane because the city isn't able to handle an event of that size, that's a fair criticism. But I took what you said to mean that Spokane shouldn't host the event because of the racial climate in Coeur d'Alene, and I don't think that's fair.
It’s not a new issue in Utah, the NBA and the Utah Jazz franchise has admitted this on several occasions. The proximity to the court and players in basketball allows for direct harassment from the stands.
Apparently fans started reporting other fans during games to help cut down on the issue.
Well if that same truck stopped by them twice....I would think that one of those teenagers would have had their phone's out to take pictures or video of the guy calling them the N* word as well as the license plate. I sure would have if that truck came back a second time.

Well, if they knew it was coming back a second time.
People are so weak that this would affect them. I had far worse happen to me as a child and no one thought it was wrong. Oh no, someone called me a bad name. Whatever! I hope that what I have endured happens to more people. Maybe it will toughen people up.

Good point. Just walk by any group of teenagers that are standing around or walking and you’ll see a majority of have their phones out already. So we’re to believe that if the incident happened that not one person took a video? Sounds suspicious. Not saying it didn’t but certainly you would think someone would have taped part of it at least.
