The media's presentation of crime is a discussion unto itself and has no bearing on the actual numbers.
I've lived places around the world, including Tokyo which is nothing like "Tokyo Vice" on a daily bases even though there's a lot of unreported crimes involving the Yakusa. But when you're out and about with the general population you don't even get a vibe of being unsafe as you don't see a bunch of low-life thugs including illegal immigrants as well as WT everywhere.
Not saying the kid isn't nuts but he said he smoked weed laced with something. I hope the cops check any weed found in the house or in his possession. It doesn't mean he shouldn't be held responsible but this is what the left doesn't get.
Drugs legal or not these days are being laced with fentanyl, crack, hallucinogens, heroin, and embalming fluid. I'm not for decriminalizing any drugs at this time because we know that fentanyl is being brought in over the border and these dealers are mixing all kinds of things in with it to give a better high.
I smoked weed years and years ago in my 20's but you wouldn't find me touching it these days because you have no idea what's in it.
Damn knives. More inanimate objects springing to life and killing people. We need more inanimate object free zones. Also, background checks before anyone is allowed to own an inanimate object.
