A secret RCMP report is warning the federal government that Canada may descend into civil unrest once citizens realize the hopelessness of their economic situation.

“The coming period of recession will … accelerate the decline in living standards that the younger generations have already witnessed compared to earlier generations,” reads the report, entitled Whole-of-Government Five-Year Trends for Canada.

“For example, many Canadians under 35 are unlikely ever to be able to buy a place to live,” it adds.
maybe if true-dolt would stop flooding the country with 'immigrants', they might be able to afford something

Canada clocks fastest population growth in 66 years in 2023

It will be interesting to see this play out in Canada because it will soon be coming to the USA.

Our young people are facing huge challenges but after decades of being brainwashed by the Liberal Left there is little doubt that their anger will be aimed at the wrong people, the wrong party.

Housing is a huge issue and like young people in Canada will ours ever be able to afford a home BUT in California it seems that the Government is giving Illegals a leg up to help them into housing with cash and vouchers. Where are the outrage and protests over this?

It's really weird how complacent the Left is when it comes to Illegal Aliens being given every thing they need while citizens go without.
In my state, MA. Illegals are costing us $70 MILLION PER Month. Imagine how that money could be better spent. It could be used to pay down student debt and help people into homes. I guess the youth that identify with the Democrats haven't made this connection yet?

If Canada fails can we be that far behind?

there could very well be a similar secret document on the US side. it would likely read very similar to this part, dismissing concerns as 'conspiracy theories' and 'misinformation':

Quote:
Another major theme of the report is that Canadians are set to become increasingly disillusioned with their government, which authors mostly chalk up to “misinformation,” “conspiracy theories” and “paranoia.”

I like to put things in a perspective I can easily understand.

If in fact the state is paying 70MM per month and the population is about 7MM then each citizen of the state is paying $10 per month to support the illegals. Family of 4 is paying nearly $500 per year. That's everyone, from the rich tycoons to the welfare mom with 3 kids and everyone in between. That should highly pass everyone off, if they knew.

How is "paying down student debt" something that would teach people to be financially responsible? It seems to me that this would do just the opposite.

I could see providing help to those with unexpected medical bills, but student debt is something that people take on voluntarily over a period of years. In other words, they have plenty of time to consider their actions and yet continue headlong further into debt each year. I don't see why I should have to pay for their ill-advised deliberate actions.

Their socialism has been funded by their oil sales for a long time. It's beyond ridiculous to see that pandering fool of a PM they have rip on the oil industry and glom on about climate change.

They are going to 3rd world status if they don't elect a common sense government that truly represents the common sense Canadian.

I used student loan payoffs as an example of where the money for Illegals could better be spent because that is something the Left can envision. If not for the Illegals the state could be handing 7000 citizens $10,000 each to help them with their loans. Elizabeth "Granny" Warren told us that such help would stimulate the economy and help people buy cars and homes etc..... Handing it to Illegals is doing nothing.

The Left wants Illegals. The Left wants to pay off student debt. There is a real Hypocrisy there.

Our Elected Elite have actually admitted that the Illegals are costing us $70 Million per month. They have also admitted that services will be reduced and taxes will be going up. I don't know why the Democrat majority of this state haven't flipped out about this. The tiny voice of the Right is but no one is listening.

$70 million per month and we are just one small state out of 50. How is this sustainable?
