How come this didn't raise any flags with the IRS ?
That's 6 years of filings
Good question. They'll arrest you for your $700 Venmo transaction for selling a used couch, but BLM members are buying mansions off $500K embezzled funds.
Who started BLM, Actblue/Thousand Currents? When one pulled up their website and hit donate all the money went to Actblue. Does convicted terrorist Susan Rosenberg, who Clinton pardoned, still run it? The first I heard of them was the lying Ferguson hands up don't shoot garbage. That was Deray McKesson and a couple of others and they were getting paid by someone.
Oh for Pete's sake. I already included statement from the DA that says that perp was fraudulently using the BLM name. I am not arguing whether or not BLM is a corrupt organization, and frankly couldn't care less. But it's a deflection to this thread. THIS thread is about fraudulent use of the BLM name. This is not up for debate, despite your desperation to discredit BLM.
"“These allegations involve fraudulent misrepresentations that the donations received would support Black Lives Matter (Atlanta, Georgia) when, as stated in the indictment, those funds were actually used by the defendant for personal expenses he incurred in Toledo and elsewhere,” said Acting U.S. Attorney Bridget M. Brennan. “It is our sincere hope that these charges help raise awareness about online scams and efforts by some to exploit the name and purpose of non-profit organizations for personal gain.”" Source: https://www.justice.gov/usao-ndoh/pr...k-page-defraud
Note the RED part. That's from the DA. They know better than you do.
You're missing the point with your comments (which is really just the same comment over and over, i.e., pretty please don't tarnish BLM's name just because this happened). Even the donations to "legitimate" BLM outfits never are used for their stated purpose and never benefit humanity. Therefore, there is no such thing as a non-fraudulent BLM donation.

No BLM, no BLM scams. End of story.
Could say the same for politicians who hustle virtual merchandise in their name, or Bibles in their name. How about those that place their people into the political committee to access those donated political funds to cover their personal expenses or even take their political donations to cover those same expenses?
no one should be the least bit surprised by this news
Social movements provide great cover for con artists and grifters as they attract the naive and gullible college students.
