You don't get it - but I'm not going to try to explain it to you as you wouldn't accept it anyway.

For now - that the point Laura - for NOW.

Touche, I feel the same about you not understanding what it actually is. No point in explaining what you can't grasp.

That's exactly what they said about the AMT. Wasn't true.

Lots of people read and understood it, not sure why anyone wouldn't understand it if they actually read it.

It guarantees no one that owns a home that is increasing in value, no one that owns stock, no one that owns any kind of business, no one that invests in ANYTHING, will ever consider voting for that vile, thieving POS. But-we have a bigger issue. Remember the Trump tax cuts? The ones that eliminated taxes for lots of lower/lower middle class income earners? That slashed taxes on those in the middle class? Those were TEMPORARY, and are due to expire. They were temporary-because no Democrat senators would vote to make them permanent. Dems will own the largest tax increase in American history when that happens.

when the choice is to spend less or raise taxes, America always seems to choose to have their taxes raised. Nothing surprising about this. We elect politicians that support raising taxes so democracy works.
