Yes it's already happened with banks and credit cards monitoring activity for political reasons. Once everything is connected and controlled, without being able to use cash you can just be shut off from purchasing anything.

And I'll take a wild guess here and say the Chicommies and Ivan and all their pals and associates will NOT be following the diktats of Chuckie.
I don't trust anything German. Look at the German impacts across human history. Here is a just a high-level sampling.
  • They destroyed the Roman Empire ushering in the dark ages.
  • 18th century German philosophers invented Socialism and Communism. We are still dealing with that in the forms of Russia and China to this very day, as well as within our universities.
  • The Germans turned a small Serbian conflict into WWI.
  • The Germans instigated WWII.
  • The Germans tried to exterminate the Jews.

Now we have Klaus Schwab trying to usher in a second coming of the dark ages with corporate serfdom, just an updated version of the feudal serfdom that took hold after the fall of the Roman Empire. Don't let enlightenment and liberty fall victim to German authoritarianism.

I feel there has definitely been a shift toward this kind of thing, beyond the slow boiling. For the first time I feel really nervous about the NEAR future and I'm not a generally paranoid type. Maybe not end of the world doomer but it seems we are playing with fire and not paying attention.

We're already (almost) there. How many of us are willing to rip up our debit and credit cards and go cash only? How many cash transactions have you made over the past month? When was the last time you held your paycheck in your hands?

Just makes easier for the government to seize your money.

I prefer being in the middle between cash and cashless. I rarely use cash for transactions but like having cash as an option. My preferred payment option is credit cards. I do not want to be forced into the situation of having to use my smartphone for every little task, feels a bit too dystopian for me.

I don't have a choice about pay, but I always have cash on me.

I learned that 2 times in my life.

Once in a high school economics class when the teacher discussed why we should always have cash on us, as well as items/skills to barter.

Second time was in Miami. Many Cuban families, meaning someone in that family came from Cuba, would stash cash in their homes because of what they had been through, they never fully trusted any government.

I stash cash. It may not be a lot, but I do stash it, especially in the last year or 2 because of Klaus Slob, and his rat faced minion, Noah.

(My apologies to all rats, past, present, and future. Rats are actually better than both of the aforementioned lying twits.)

World governments saw how China was able to control their people through digital means during the pandemic.

They want that type of power too.
Don't be so naive to think governments are altruistic.

The local utilities went digital and closed the office. You have to pay with digital currency now and pay a convenience fee on top of the bill.

Fun thing about having to use a phone app for banking is that if you lose your phone (or someone steals it) then you have just lost access to your money.

All of this is going to happen in order to bring in the mark of the beast. Just like how people caved and got the shots in order to keep their jobs, people will take the mark to keep their jobs and be able to get food.
