The economic stimulous package is exactly what us as Americans needed and now we no longer have to worry about a recession because this stimulus check fixed everything. We have had three honest Presidents in the history of this country. We had George Washington, Abe Lincoln, and George W. Bush. We know Bush is honest because he is a Christian and it says in the Bible you aren't supposed to lie. He restored honor and dignity to the White House after Clinton turned it into a ***** house. I think all in all, he is one of the greatest Presidents this country ever had!
I think we've been nippin a bit to much on the cool aide, eyyyy?

123copYou are comparing Bush to Mussolini?

YES, only Mussolini was smarter. Too bad he was hung by the people from a street light pole [Bush needs to be careful around ropes

I say greatest. Even greater than Hoover, our last greatest President.

The OP is so right. I never lost sleep over terrorist attacks... but I don't live near financial capitals. However, once I came to terms with the need for some less than stellar dealings to get us into Iraq, I was just fine with Bush. It was a growing experience.

If the only thing he had done is put Alito and Roberts on the bench, I'd of been happy. Instead, he did other good things. I do like him.

Actually, it's borrowed from socialists. Now, if BO becomes president, the dollar is so close to a collapse, he'll have to raise taxes to pay off the debt instead of paying taxes to implement socialist projects... which alter the culture of America.

It's a great deal in my book. One way or another taxes will be raised. However, with Bush's genius actions, socialism will be headed of for a time.

You do know that we already pay nearly 20% for Social Security and Medicare and it's going bankrupt, right? You want more socialism?

He's done everything in his power. He lowered taxes... and even given tax money back. Beyond that, the market goes up, the market goes down.

You want the economy to do well? Vote for politicians (Republican or Democrat) who oppose the current polarization and who are in favor of making America a place where you'd want to start a business.

What does oil have to do with him?

That's the leftist acrimony everyone talks about.

LOL. Don't forget, refusing to explore on principle while China is burning the oil they're siphoning from under Florida from their rigs off the shore of Cuba.

They're going to burn the same stinking oil and their economy will continue to explode while America is languishing under the extremists. God help us.

If I had wanted to compare Bush to Mussolini I would have said "Bush is just like Mussolini:" Or Perhaps you thought I was comparing him to Franco....both of them for being fascist were far greater men in their own right than Bush can ever hope to be. Now those are my own words. Or to make it even clearer Bush is too much of a failure and to inept to be compare either to Franco or Mussolini. As a military leader I suppose you thought I was comparing him to Attila or Genghis Khan. Bush was AWOL most of his career so he is not comparable to either of those. Maybe he can be compared to James Buchanan. But even he (Buchanan) gets higher marks by most presidential scholars that does Bush 43.

I hope I have made myself clear on this. You're attempt to put words in my mouth is NOT working. Please try not to do that to me and I will reciprocate. Thank you.

BTW if you haven't noticed the real point here is about "20 percenters" and not just Bush, Mussolini, Franco etc etc. You made the comparisons not I. Any opinion on the "20 percenters" point? I conclude, from your commentary that you are a Bush "20 percenter". Am I correct is assuming that? At least I have the manners to ask.

For a while I felt kind of sorry for Bush. He was a rich frat boy that just got put into a position way beyond his abilities or comprehension.

When I saw his increasingly embarassing press conferences over the years though and I saw he just does not care 1 little iota about all of the fine young American men and women he has sent over to be needlessly maimed, blown up, or screwed up in their brains for the rest of their lives...then the sort of funny pity I had for him turned to contempt and disgust.

He will not be missed.
