There are a number of people who've recently been sentenced to prison (as opposed to rehabilitation, probation, etc) for crimes such as DUI, due to the fact that they've posted photos on networking websites of themselves drinking and engaging in lewd behavior, which prosecutors are using to cast them in a "bad light."

What do you think?

I think it's funny as hell. some people don't know consequence until it is thrust upon them.

I think it's a good idea. It shows the lack of remorse for his actions. Way to go judge!

If you put it in the public domain, it is fair to use it.

yes it becomes public domain, but how do they make the connection between being unrepentant by jus wearing a halloween costume? are they never to wear a jail bird costume? are they never to wear a corona shirt? attend smirnoff sponsored party? ever?

unless somehting is written that clearly says this guys is unapologetic, i dont see the connection.

it just seems like a tasteless costume, specially given his previous record. does it warrant a harsher punishment? i dont think so.

now for pictures of people drinking, well if they are supposed to be clean, which is mostly the case after a DUI,

then BAMMMM take that you idiot!!!

why are you even drinking to begin with? especially knowing you shouldnt.

and why are you posting pics of you drinking when you are being watched most likely?

people who post pictures of themselves on the net, engaging in prohibited behaviour, either by law, condition or punishment, deserve what they get.

but i dont see how wearing a budweiser shirt is equal to being unrepentant about the pain you have inflicted on your passengers or other motorists. its stupid, but i dont see it as throwing dirt in the face of your victim. thats a stretch.

but i might not be seeing something...
