ok friend, was in greyhound station and black manager called the cops to throw out the old lady using the racial slurs you just quoted---- last friday.
Why are white people not offended by slurs like kracker, honky or white trash?
Racist/ Nazi, is probaly the most offensive slur to a white person
I just consider the source, and don't allow those that feel the need to lower themselves to infantile name calling to effect me in any way. They have the problem, not me.
Kracker and honky do offend me. White trash doesn't so much because it's only labeling a type of white person, not all white people. "Racist" doesn't bother me at all, I have been called that plenty of times.
LOL, thats funny Ive been called that plenty of times
[quote=One Thousand;5740375]"blacks and women are generally permitted and encouraged to be romantic" -- which you go onto define as "unnecessarily sentimental and/or emotional".
So you're saying that black people are "unnecessarily sentimental and/or emotional"....in general.
I don't see it as racist that people want to be with like people. I don't think any group, blacks, whites, hispanic, asian, prefer others to their own heritage. It isn't racist, it is "embracing" one's ethnicity or past. It isn't to say one doesn't want someone different living near them. It isn't saying one won't "tolerate" anyone else. People like the foods, culture, entertainment, etc. that is popular among themselves.
Miami, Florida is a prime example. No one is telling them they have to bring more whites in.

Wow.
That has, absolutely, been my experience.
I grew up in and around Detroit, MI. Blacks, from sissies to tough guys, were generally more feminine in that regard. In different areas I've been, I found the same thing. Blacks on TV are the same. Blacks on this forum are the same.
I'm not suggesting all blacks are excessively emotional or sentimental, but almost all I've encountered or witnessed have been.
If that hasn't been your experience, good for you. That's what my experience has been.
