"What A "Didiot!"

Gas-Saving Tips - Fact or Fiction? Diddy blew a lot of hot air last week about going green by ditching his "own" private jet. It was hotter than we knew. Turns out P. doesn't even have his "own" private jet at all.

An extensive look through federal aviation records by the Palm Beach Post turned up no Seans, Diddys, Combs, or Puffys as the registered owner. One source said, "I have a list of every plane with the name of the owner, and he's not on it."

For the record, says his rep, he's got a "fractional" ownership in a plane on NetJets, where you buy flight hours. Also for the record, Joe Francis does have his own plane.

Most people who travel by "private" jet do not actually "own" them, for various legal, tax, insurance and other reasons. In fact most airlines do not "own" their aircraft either. It's pretty likely that the grocery company whose store you frequent does not "own" the building that it sits in, for the reasons stated above.

Many people who rent their home, or lease their car still refer to the home or car as "theirs". So what exactly is the problem here?

So was this just a chance to catch a black guy in what you consider a "lie" or was their some nobler purpose involved?

either way he was still spending 200K on each flight. whether the plane was his or partially his is not really important. the fact that he has some brains and is paying 1/thousandths for the flight makes him A OK. no big deal. he is still worth about 50 million more than me.
