"W" has lost touch with the nation he should have been leading! He was bad the first 4 years, absolutely horrible the last 4!

Cheers to a brighter future ...and President

1857-1861: Democrat James Buchanan. He's the one before Abraham Lincoln.
For 4 years, he refused to challenge the spread of slavery or the growing number of states that were joining forces to secede from the Union.

Honorable mention:
1841: William Harrison - contracted pneumonia during his inaguration speech and died after 30 days as President.

Roosevelt first off got us into a depression then used his damn near dictator power to "miracoulosly" pull us out of it, he then proceeded to start a war against our brothers in germany in one the bloodiest wars ever. He knew The japs were gonna bomb pearl harbor but did not stop them because he needed a real reason to enter the war, up until that point we had all but sent troops to england to help them. runners up are lincoln and bush the 2nd

Didn't Roosevelt take us off the gold standard. That basically is the problem we are dealing with today. Sometimes heros are not that great when you look at them down the road. He stuck on a band aid and it has worked its way off.
