I don't follow your logic. Opening and closing are arbitrary measures... nothing like a voting poll where it's an absolute measure.

If you sell a share of MSFT on Tuesday and even though at 1:00 PM EST the stock was selling at $11.89, if it closes at $14.55, you wouldn't see $14.55 in your account... you'd see the actual price of the sale.

It's actually over 15 000. Gold was hot, and now it has dropped some 30%.

Yeah I haven't kept up with the stock market in a couple days, so I thought it was at least 13,000 but it was safe to say 10k+
