Bush. He's easily worse than nixon.

Preemptive war based on fabricated evidence that cost a lot of lives and killed our reputation throughout the rest of the world.

As for other things he screwed up on, he is in the league with the rest of the neo-con presidents like Bush I, Reagan, Nixon, Eisenhower (another war monger who started the whole Iran mess with us... His interstate highway program pretty much destroyed the inner city as well and is a big reason we are so dependent on oil but that may be more due to an ideology than a single man)

That's a pretty sick thread there really. I'd like to have you discuss this list with 6,000,000+ Jews. Or how about the 30,096 people that Saddam Hussein killed. Or the 300,000 people Benito Mussolini killed.

I'm not even going to vote in your stupid thread. It's a cheap shot.

Too bad McCain has associations with anti-semites. How dishonorable of him.

Why does McCain think there should be another Holocaust?

Dishonorable would be putting it lightly ....

(1) GEORGE W. BUSH
(2) DICK CHENEY
(3) PRACTICALLY EVERYONE ELSE CONNECTED TO BUSH

Even to simply call Bush the worst president in U.S. History doesn't even come close.

In the past 8 years our country has experienced many of the absolute worst situations imaginable while Bush was in charge.

(1) First we are attacked on 9/11, and Bush completely ignored all of the pre-9/11 warnings from other countries.

(2) Then Bush avoids an investigation into 9/11 until 18 months later when he is pressed by the families of the 9/11 victims. Bush makes certain that nobody (including himself) is ever held accountable for events which led up to 9/11.

(3) Then Bush starts an endless and unnecessary war in Iraq.

(4) Then the Bush Administration leaks the name of a CIA operative, and Bush commutes the prison sentence of Scooter Libbey, Cheney's chief of staff, who is found guilty. Scooter never serves a single day in jail.

(5) Bush ignores Hurricane Katrina until it is too late

(6) Bush doesn't regulate the housing industry, and allows the housing bubble to grow and burst, and puts the U.S. into the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression of 1929.

I know people want to point fingers back to Clinton, but let's face it ... Bush was in charge when all of the above happened. If anyone had the power to stop or prevent any of the above tragedies ... it was Bush.

Bush passed enough laws without Congress (using Vetos, Presidential Signing Statements) ... that he could have got necessary laws passed if he really wanted to.

As President Harry Truman once stated "The Buck Stops Here".

The responses are confirmation of what I already knew. Many of the posters on this forum are:

a. uneducated, especially in the area of history
b. drama queens
c. emotional over-reactors
d. any combination of the above

There is no way any U.S. President in the history of our great country is worse than Adolf Hitler. None. Zero. Zip. Nada.

You will have a case when a U.S. president kills millions of innocent civilians. Until then, grow up and discuss politics like an adult. This sort of drama is born of ignorance.
