who watched it?- the dow dropped 130 plus as soon it was over. Do you think he said anything meaningful?

I thought his manner when it was over was disgusting. He walked away without any questions. He said nothing that I think would make the markets react positively.

Bush is a lame duck.
Just this last summer he announced that there is recession, our economy is in a slowdown.

There is no confidance in him.

He's given 10 addresses in the past 2 weeks and has said absolutely nothing new. He does not inspire confidence in the public, and it's probably better for him that he not answer questions, although I think the American public deserves a Q&A session. The addresses have simply become a formality.

Everytime they come out and say the Fed or whoever is dumping cash into the system, it lowers investor confidence in the market. We just need a shadow government entity to do it rather than announce it to the world.

I don't think he has much credibility anymore. Whatever he says now, the reaction seems to be along the lines of: "That's nice", and then the stock market resumes its death spiral.
