I like him and would've voted for him. I'll be voting third party this year.

Liberal media, blah blah blah...

I think I remember - wait, yes I do - trying to digest an Ann Coulter column that basically said liberals were the ones fawning over Huckabee.

I dislike any candidate that says that we should "make the constitution more christian friendly". He is a religious nutjob.

Huckabee would have been an outstanding choice - one that I personally supported and was disappointed when he dropped out.

He was a like-able guy, but his platform had more in common with George W. Bush than any other GOP candidate: religious conservativism combined with liberal spending habits. Noooo thanks, I've had my fill of that.

As long as Republicans continue to be irresponsible spenders, I'll continue voting Democrat.

Funny that I put the third option in there as a joke yet it is the second most popular choice. But whatever.

Huckabee's policies were actually quite different from Bush, he didn't have plans for outrageous spending habits. I liked his healthcare ideas, a little iffy on his foreign policy though...

Romney, Huckabee, and Paul were all superior candidates to McCain.

Romney and Huckabee's religious backgrounds were not going to be allowed to survive in "mainstream" American politics.

Ron Paul has been one of the most insightful candidates and truly lives his life according to what he believes. He is an honest, thoughtful and creative candidate. Unfortunately he comes across with an "anticharismatic quality" when delivering his message. He depresses people by telling them the truth, the message they don't won't to hear, and the remedies they're not fond of facing.

I liked him MUCH better than McCain. He has a screwball mentality on some issues, but he was a likable guy unlike the GOP candidate that is currently running. It really is a moot point for me (and a LOT of Americans) because until the repugs have a "rat killing" and get rid of the right wing neoCON trash that they have allowed to steer their party (since reagan came on the scene) I don't care WHO they run for what office as I'll not vote for them.Clean your house and then come talk to us with a humbled attitude and maybe then we'll have some common ground.

He didn't say that. Anyway, does that mean you are for abortion on demand?

Huckabee is much more likeable than McCain. I liked his stands more than anyone oo bad he brought religion into his discussions so much.
