President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign spent more than it collected in June. Obama overspends in June
Obama still owes Newport Beach $35,000 for the cost of providing police protection during a February fundraiser. Should taxpayers pay for Obamas fundraising campaign?
Are you telling us you never applied for a job that demanded a copy of your transcripts? If you want to see Romney's tax returns why do you find it so hard for others to want to see Obama's transcripts. I for one, don't care about either, but I do see how some people feel?
I've never been asked by an employer for a copy of college transcripts. Ever.
you got it: if one side seems to think Romney is hiding something that could be damaging, what makes them think Obama isn't? Did he get a scholarship because he was from another country, did he have terrible grades, did he get into law school because he was a minority, using affirmative action and not based on grades?
Nita
First of all, the two things aren't connected.
Secondly, he got into Harvard law school. They don't accept people with terrible grades, minority or otherwise. Admission is based on grades and LSAT scores. Whether one is a minority or not.

No. In an earlier post, I mentioned that I had to submit my transcripts as a part of obtaining a security clearance. That was 20 years ago, and transcripts are no longer required in that job. A diploma would have been sufficient, but I did not graduate... I'm still about 10 credits short. Not that possessing a degree has hurt me much- the only thing it would be been good for was a teaching job, and I've never particularly wanted to be a teacher.
The question remains: why do others even want to see them? For a fact, Obama graduated, went on to obtain a Master's, and was Summa *** Laude. Since he graduated from a private school, his higher education didn't cost us a dime, even though he most probably took out student loans, and most probably got some scholarships.
All this kerfuffle developed only when the birthers failed again and again to get any traction at all with their demands for birth certificates. There is no information on a transcript that will tell them anything they so desperately want; all a transcript is is a report card. While other records surely exist that detail what the birthers are so pitifully yearning to know, they are confidential and will never be released. Harvard is not about to break any confidentiality, and you can take that one to the bank. And neither will Columbia or Occidental College.
This whole thing was cooked up by a bunch of dropouts who are mystified with anything concerning higher education.
Do I see how they feel? Sure, I do. I know several dropouts and former dropouts. Those who went on to finish high school and go to college find this junk as pathetic and ludicrous as I do.
These guys are desperate, but like they say in Survivor: 'Sorry. Got nothing for ya.'

doesn't mean there isn't ignorance, it's just that he isn't making excuses for it.
gotta respect that.
Yup. I've met many very proud dunces over my lifetime. They are always the ones who dig themselves into the deepest holes. Persistence and intelligence are 2 different things.

Why will Mittens not release his tax records?
