I have watched Obama and listened to his speeches over and over and the only thing I can come up with is that he is all smoke & mirrors. He promises change but offers no "how" on that change. He has contradicted himself on many of the things he says he supports when in the past he has voted against them.

I hope I am wrong and he is able to lead this country effectively but from his resume, he will as divisive a POTUS as we have ever seen. We had 2 terms of a slick speaking do nothing President who made a mockery of the office. We had a complete an utter wimp in Carter in the 70s and look where he got us.

I wonder how the people have been fooled so very badly. Obama lacks any form of substance, therefore = smoke & mirrors.

I guess we shall see. Everything people say (whether its a naysayer or obamafan) is all speculation right now. PERSONALLY, I think he will try to avoid the smoke and mirrors because he has lots to prove.

You have to keep in mind that majority of the American people, for the most part, are stupid and gullible. These "slick" politicians and lobbyists thrive on this. Our Gov as a whole depends on it.

We can only hope our Congresspeople will step up to the plate and watch out for us...although, they haven't done such a hot job in the past. Look to the past to see your future!
