Just to let everyone know here, I at one time identified as being gay. I no longer hold that belief. I do believe that homosexuality is a product of nurture and environment and I do believe that there is alot of choice when it comes to this issue.

I don't believe that gays were born that way.

I believe in traditional marriage and I will help in any way possible to keep it that way.

Is sexuality also a choice? Just sexuality---the desire to be with another person to mutually fulfill natural hormone-driven desires of the flesh? Can you say that sexuality is not a choice, but the variations within it are? Can you choose, rationally, to just turn off sexuality, to make the choice?

I don't know what it feels like to desire a man, but I know what it feels like to desire a woman. How come I don't have the same certainty that you have that I have made a choice?

Well there you have it, a scientific survey of one. Speaking for myself... I'm now convinced.

I believe this to a point. I've seen people who appear, at a very young age, to be between the sexes and I've seen the hell they go through at the hands of others who judge them. I think just as there can be a birth defect of the limbs or other body part, so can there be a defect of the brain affecting sexual orientation.
