Considering what she did for a living, I don't think she'd be above a few lies here and there. She might have been flighty enough to not know very much about many subjects, who knows? Anyway, as long as she makes her money off of the scandal and people are really interested in hearing about it, I guess all is well. I happen to dislike Diane Sawyer more than this Ashley person.
I would not have known who the governor was when I was 22. Maybe she was just not into the polictical scene like most young people are not. When I was that age, I just had no interest nor paid attention.
Her job is about lying ...a prostitute is not going to tell her real name (lie), where she really lives (lie), that she thinks the guy is discusting (lie), that she is doing it because she loves her job (lie), and to keep the names secret (lie,) that the guy is good in bed (lie), etc.......

Hey, give the girl a break! I actually met a young lady (about 19) in Seattle, Washington a few years back who was angry at former President Clinton because he was out of state so much. She felt he should stay home more because he was the President of Washington. I could not belive my ears!
Needless to say, I quickly regretted moving there since I had high-school children. I've never experienced such "backward", "isolated views" during my time there. Must be the clouds.

Wow, really? That's pretty sad. I knew who the governor was when I was in elementary school, just as I knew who was running for president and vice president when I was 7 years old! Being 22, you'd be out of college and surely you'd know who your governor was, unless you're a completely ignorant moron. I can't imagine there are too many kids who WOULDN'T know that Arnold is the governator of California.
