Liberals show a greater gap between explicit attitudes and implicit attitudes and behavior than do conservatives. While highly educated white parents tend to have liberal explicit attitudes on racial issues, a recent study shows that these same highly educated whites seek out schools that are racially segregated and are more likely to live in racially segregated neighborhoods.

In other words, there is a positive correlation between the average education of white parents and the likelihood that parents will remove their children from public schools as the percentage of black students increases.

The OP actually makes pretty good sense.

Educated, wealthy white liberals almost always move OUT of the areas where the people they claim to care so much about, actually live. And they either send their kids to exclusive private schools, or almost-in-the-country public schools where there are no students other then white ones from wealthy families.

Sad, but true.

Thank you, couldn't have said it better myself. Chelsea Clinton attended only private schools, her entire life, and now Obama is sending his 2 kids to the same school.

Some proud black man he is. We all see what "community" he chooses when given the opportunity to discriminate.

In all fairness, I think those are two exceptions. Seriously. The President's kids aren't just any old kids.

Now... a more legitimate question might be to ask where the Obama children have been attending school up to this point. I honestly don't know the answer to that question.
