Why Are So Many 'Pro-Lifers' also 'Pro-War'? (Iraq, enemy, Israel)

I am pro-life and anti-war, unless war is absolutely necessary. But the real reason is most conservative pro-lifers are also very pro Pax-Americana. Its part of Southern culture. Its in their blood, and there is nothing that will change that.

This is true, I never did get why we have to be saviors of the world.
Abortion is murder, killing in a JUST war is not. Now whether or not the Iraq War is just or not is a whole other issue.
Agree here, but I strongly believe the Iraq war is anything but just. Most of my Christian conservative brothers and sisters will consider me a heretic for holding that belief. Its a misconception that Old Testament Biblical literature concerning the nation applies to the United States when that was actually written by and for Ancient Israel.
Wow...this is exactly the same as the pro-choice/anti death penalty contradiction that keeps coming up on these boards, except now aimed at the right instead of the left.
The same reasoning applies here as does there...... abortion and war are two completley different topics, just like abortion and the death penalty are completely different.
