Its already started...Ammunition Accountability Legislation

Remember how Obama said that he wasn't going to take your guns? Well, it seems that his minions and allies in the anti-gun world have no problem with taking your ammo!

The bill that is being pushed in 18 states requires all ammunition to be encoded by the manufacture, providing a data base of all
Ammunition sales. So they will know how much you buy and what calibers.Nobody can sell any ammunition after June 30, 2009 unless the ammunition is coded.

Any privately held uncoded ammunition must be destroyed by July 1, 2011. (Including hand loaded ammo.) They will also charge a .05 cent tax on every round so every box of ammo you buy will go up at least $2.50 or more!

If they can deprive you of ammo they do not need to take your guns!

This legislation is currently pending in 18 states: Alabama , Arizona , California , Connecticut , Hawaii , Illinois , Indiana , Kentucky , Maryland , Mississippi , Missouri, New Jersey, New York , Pennsylvania , Rhode Island , South Carolina, Tennessee , and Washington .

Send to your friends in these states AND fight to dissolve this BILL!!

So. If you're not murdering people, what do you care?

Besides, this one is so easy to get around it's not even funny. Just pay some homeless bum to go buy your ammo for you.

Makes it simple to frame someone now (pick their brass up at a shooting range to deposit at crime scene).

My grandfather used to make his own bullets. I have a feeling that is not going to be such a dying art after all.

Now you're a forward thinker, aren't ya?

I care because it's an additional tax that I, as a law abiding citizen, shouldn't have to pay. I care because it's yet another registration scheme, which will ultimately lead to confiscation if we continue to allow them to pass. I care because people are prone to mistakes, and databases are prone to corruption, and I could potentially be executed for a crime I didn't commit.

I care because I'm an American, and this is the government using a technicality to sidestep the Constitution.

Gun control began with Obama? These are state initiatives not a push for Federal legislation. I guess by adding Obama to your troll, you hope to get more red meat gun folk riled up as much as possible?

And then it'll probably lead to men marrying goats and cats marrying toasters.

How about my muzzleloaders?

Do I have to get a new mold to cast round balls with serial numbers?

All I need to keep going is a bag of charcoal, a bag of sulphur, a bag of sodium nitrate, and a bucket of tire weights and I'm in business.
