seems the Dems voted 2:1 in favor of corporate welfare over republicans. Leftist partisans are complete idiots. I'll concede that republicans aren't much better, but look at the facts people. You are getting bent over and raped by the two party establishment.

You know in a very perverse sort of way I wish the bailout had never happened just so I could watch the economy totally hit the skids and some of you folks with it.

Some of that vaunted socialist compassion. Tell me, what's compassionate about extorting from the poor to give to the rich? And I'll be just fine when this economy hits the skids. I'm armed, own land, and won't be in the middle of urban ghetto looting/rioting.

When the banks said " Give me hundreds of billions of dollars" the folks in congress from both parties stumbled all over themselves to give it to them with no oversight and transparency. American manufacturers on the other hand ask for peanuts compared to the banks get the response from our paid off congress "what's your business plan?" Wall Street, with locked arms with the globalist, run this country hands down.

Self sufficiency.

The best Idea I've heard before. Now, with tough times perhaps more people will realize that self reliance is not only a good thing, not only a source of FREEDOM, but is actually a great deal of FUN!

....you ain't no kinda man, with out land....

You can't prevent every economic downturn. It is part of life, and tampering with the natural ebb and flow of the economy is quite frankly, a clusterf%@k to the poor house.

There is nothing natural or cyclic about this situation. It's the product of some vandals putting sugar in the gas tank. The rest of the car is fine. Have to get the fuel system cleaned out before the rest of her goes south from just sitting around...
