I seriously doubt they will ever be charged with war crimes for conspiring to mislead the American people into believing of the necessity of invading a country that posed no threat to us, however, I have hope that there will come a day when the darkness of prisons in Afghanistan, Cuba and Iraq come to light and the human rights abuses committed by these thugs are followed with indictments for their crimes.
people who were involved in the abu grab prisoner abuse have already been brought to justice. don't think for a minute that anyone higher up than those involved will ever be brought to justice. bush, the vp, and rumsfeld probably knew nothing of what was happening thousands of miles away. but, one or all three may have given the authorization to derive information by whatever means were necessary, but really didn't authorize the abuses or the un-necessary force used on prisoners, since the geneva convention rules didn't apply in the cases. in hindsight, I'll just bet they felt bad about what was exposed, because if our service members were captured, they would endure possibly an even worse fate, which some did. down through history, there have been atrocities of war, some stories I'm sure we'll never hear of or know about. war is hell, let's not forget that. men and women do what they must to survive in battle, and captivity.

Do you really believe what I bolded? Because if you do, you are wrong. And I do mean COMPLETELY wrong. Dick "The Dark Side" Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld were the architechts of such actions. The responsibility, as well as legal justice, should be directed towards those responsible who ordered it.

War is an atrocity. Going to war under false pretense is a war crime,it would follow.

I think George Bush should be tried as the war criminal he is. As well as Dick Cheney.
