No, it certainly is not the ideal.

Have we all not done things in our youth that we have learned was not "the way?" Do we not try to help others learn from our mistakes?

There is no embarrassment for past mistakes IF one has learned a lesson from those mistakes.

I know I am not perfect. I made choices in my youth that I hope that my children will not make, but they are their own persons. They will learn from their mistakes as I did mine.

Who are we to judge others lives and choices?

I'm not judging anyone...I'm just pointing out the irony. Personally, Bristol seems like a nice kid who made a mistake and I hope it works out well for her and her baby. But you'd think after this mistake at least Sarah Palin might concede that birth control could be helpful, no?
