But you have to admit that it isn't exactly ideal. And it's a little embarassing that a woman who preaches abstinence until marriage and supports "good morals" was herself pregnant at her wedding and has a daughter who got pregnant out of wedlock as well. If you don't see the irony in that, you're probably looking at it with your partisan goggles on.
No, it certainly is not the ideal.
Have we all not done things in our youth that we have learned was not "the way?" Do we not try to help others learn from our mistakes?
There is no embarrassment for past mistakes IF one has learned a lesson from those mistakes.
I know I am not perfect. I made choices in my youth that I hope that my children will not make, but they are their own persons. They will learn from their mistakes as I did mine.

Who are we to judge others lives and choices?
I'm not judging anyone...I'm just pointing out the irony. Personally, Bristol seems like a nice kid who made a mistake and I hope it works out well for her and her baby. But you'd think after this mistake at least Sarah Palin might concede that birth control could be helpful, no?
Tell me again why Palin and those related to her are still an issue?
The election is over, and she is back home, it is not a story anymore. Time to move on
Because Palin has expressed a possibilty of running for pres. in 2012!
I agree- and I also don't believe this reflects on Bristol. Teenagers don't look at the big picture when choosing boyfriends/girlfriends- they just look at the person.
Then why did you start this thread?
Why would anyone care if some woman from Alaska has a drug problem?
Oh that's right, because it is Sarah Palin's daughter.
