And, hopefully, all those executed (were really guilty-and not falsely accused, convicted and killed) Ox-Bow Incident
now, all WE as americans have to do is convince the rest of the american population that george w. bush wrongfully started a war in a soveriegn nation that has led to the deaths of thousands of american soldiers, and thousands of iraqi citizens, and is personally responsible for these atrocities.

Wrong thread. This is the BDS thread about W being a domestic criminal.

There's many other BDS threads about W the war criminal

He didn't "preside over" any executions. He was governor of a state which actually carries out the penalty as prescribed by state law.

It's called justice. Murder is punishable by death, and it is just punishment for the shedding of innocent blood.

God himself prescribed it. If you don't like it, talk to God about it (I don't care if you say you don't believe in God, either. One doesn't have to believe in cancer to die from it).

George Bush is not personally responsible. The one who did the crime is.

I know we want to make George Bush responsible for everything these days, including, no doubt, so-called "global warming"!

OP talks like this is a bad thing.

Hell, it's one of the reasons I voted for the man in 2000.

Take out the TRASH!

If you intentionally murder someone it's not safe for you to remain a part of society, even in prison. Serial rapists and child molestors also need to be terminated.

My only problems with capital punishment are that there are way to many appeals and that we use lethal injection. Bring back the Chair, the Chamber and the Rope. Make it an actual deterrant. Inmates no doubt were terrified of going to the chair, being roasted alive. Now they get put to sleep. Hardly a deterrant IMO.

Truthfully, in Texas the governor has little control over the execution process when compared to other states. Judges, not Bush determined execution dates.

I hear their number is coming up soon. They should be dead within a year or two. I can't see any way these guys get clemency. They are goners (as they should be).

Actually, they should have done to them what they did to Mr. Byrd.

mass murder, serial murder; basically when the offender anti social with no respect for human life, no conscience, the offenders guilt is not disputed. In this case the offender cannot be rehabilitated, and is permanent danger to society.

In reality, the justice system and the humans that make it up are flawed, and do not administer the death penalty in a just manner. And putting someone to death unjustly is not something you can fix, so I do not support the death penalty.
