No he hasn't "kept us safe," there never was anything to be fearful of in the first place. Bush and the rest of the conservatives invented a bogeyman and told the rest of America to fear it. And unfortunately, Americans being the obedient slaves that they are, believed that nonsense. Americans fell for it "hook, line and sinker."

The last 8 years have not been our finest hour. Actually it has been very embarrassing.

Or maybe the people of all those political affiliations you encountered have no idea what they are talking about

He kept us safe. After getting a briefing entitled " Bin Laden determined to strike US" ...they did nothing...and then 9/11 happens on their watch.

Then the Anthrax attacks for which they bumbled the investigation.

Not to mention the 4000+ soldiers that had killed for no good reason in Iraq.

And the State Department says world wide terrorist attacks are up ...not down..

Boy...he did a great job.

You no doubt feel as safe as many did at 8 AM, September 11, 2001. Nothing like a little complacency to get you all warm and fuzzy, eh?

Considering most of those people know a lot more than I do, yes they do know what they're talking about. Sorry to disappoint you, you support a loser.

Dubya has given a lot of power to corporates; Outsource jobs overseas and corporates will get a tax break!
Then came the famous WMDs...and the rest of the story...a war that was suppose to end quick!
Taken us into a recession.
I guess to sum up:
if you are wealthy--> W has been your hero.
if you are part of the middle class...most likely you are under a financial stress.

The job of a terrorist is to make people afraid, and that designation may be applied to George W. Bush if he has caused anyone to fear being attacked.

George has kept no one safe except himself.

The only historical debate regarding Bush 41 is whether or not he ranks as low as James Buchanan or higher than Zachary Taylor.

The 10 Worst Presidents
