Goodness, it makes me wonder what has this world come to.
Because mankind is a collection of hairless monkey's that just so happen to be the missing link between the savage and the civilized with an emphasis on the former more than the latter.
At this stage of human development, man has the capability to be greater than the sum of his parts but he chooses not to be, he embraces his savage tribal nature and clings to ancient belief structures in favor of power over wisdom.
Now that man has technological abilities that surpasses his humanity, it is only a matter of time before he unleashes something upon the world that dooms everyone to being a little more than a foot note in geological time, and it will likely be done under the pretense of a noble and just cause.
Now back to Survivor Antarctica where two supermodels and 5 Chippendale dancers are forced to compete in order to win fabulous prizes and a trip to the Super Bowl, complete with the NASCAR half time special.
Goodness, it makes me wonder what has this world come to.
I think that, because of human nature, the world was probably always like this, only that the news of these wars did not travel fast enough or was not recorded. They too probably fought over power, religion and resources (land / oil / harvest etc). Only now, we have bigger bombs and the stakes are higher.

There has always been,but now we see it in video and photo also.But for every bad thing in the world I can come back with something good in the world also.Don't get too negative.Even in war there are moments of goodness and self sacrifice made for someone else.
