I could summarize, but in general he is telling lobbists, "Kiss my ars" and I love it. It's about time. However, once again, the man is good with words, he has proven that. But lets hope these words today are backed with action.

lobbists are on the clock, their pompus elitist attitude, of offering gifts for legislative favors is over.....or at least we can hope.

I hope those who violate the new laws are actually prosecuted. Lobbists, as they are known today, have no place in America, as they truly have been a cancer of this great country!

I'm glad. While I fully expect that you will start to believe his words as well, let me give you an idea which demonstrates his character, whats inside, and goes beyond his words which he uses to communicate so well.

He was asked last night (during one of the inaugural balls) about what he thought about "the stumbled oath". Instead of blaming CJ Roberts, he said, we had a busy schedule and it was tough to get things right.

This, after the fact, that it was CJ Roberts who screwed it up, not once, but at least twice. The first time, Obama paused to have him correct what he said (which also proved to me that he has an attentive mind and wasn't just repeating what he was being told to). CJ Roberts fumbled again, and Obama didn't repeat what he said (which was wrong again). He actually said exactly what is in the oath.

He say what he thinks.

I dont attest to understand the whole concept of his (Obama) reasons for doing what he's done, but understand, some of the best anti hacking staff in government agencies are and were hackers themselves from the outside. So how better to counter the lobbyist movement by having some people to work for you who have been there and wore the shirt??

That'd be really nice if he did show the lobbyists to the door.

Yeah , I noticed that too. He is a man of character and some people are so conditioned to how things were with Bush, that they cannot understand integrity. Obama is a Constitutional scholar as opposed to a daddy's privileged brat and that is why having him in the White House is so comforting and reassuring.
