The catholic church pointing out anyone else's arrogance is too ludicrous for words, and hypocritical by the way.

Pro Life,,,Pro Choice,,,IT DOESN'T MATTER!!!!! Abortion is here to stay, it is practiced in every country of the world whether legal or illegal. It will never be eliminated through legislation. It can be kept relatively safe and clean , practiced by medically trained staff - when it's legal.

It is a HUGE social issue, both sides agree with that.

Most abortions are received by young people. It's a fact, look it up.

We can change one thing. The number of them being preformed every year. Through intensive education of our young, in schools, at home, through public service announcements and by handing out free or very cheap birth control. You will never stop sex. We are wired to want it. Our youth will never disregard sex, the drive for it. Give them the means to stop getting pregnant. I have never understood how so many Pro Lifers are also the ones demanding very limited sex ed and protesting the use of birth control. You want to stop abortions? START HANDING OUT CONDOMS

Very true. I watched a Catholic priest once dispose of an entire huge 5 gallon bucket filled with free condoms for college students on my campus.
Pro-Life my a$$...

I can't believe people (especially Catholics and evangelicals) who voted for him are totally ignorant of his record and ideology on the abortion issue.

Of course, the media did a great job of keeping the issue out of the debates and minimizing his radical record - maybe that's why they are so surprised.
As a former Roman Catholic, I'm here to tell you that the current Pope and all his minions do not have a leg to stand on when it comes to speaking about arrogance. STUDY the Church's history, it's track record in third world countries (especially Latin America), the pedophile scandals and then get back to me, OK? As far as I am concerned, they've been morally bankrupt for a long, long time.

The Church has a very long history of pointing fingers at others while refusing to take a look at itself. What is it going to take for you as well as others, to realize that?

What this Pope Benedict wants is a return to a Roman Catholic dominated theocracy. Go read how it worked out last time the Roman Catholic Church was ruling the world.

I guess they didn't send you the memo: divisive tactics are passe. Over. Finito.

Besides, not all religious people are stupid.

If you are against abortion, then don't get one.

If you want to be more proactive, ADOPT a child (like I did), AND gleefully pay more taxes to help out all the women who decide to keep their babies.

If you cannot put your money where your mouth is, then you're preaching morality while wearing no clothing.

Obama supported a bill in Illinois tht would deny life support to infants that survived abortion attempts. What does that tell you? That story was reported well before the eletion of King OBAMA. Even my sister (claims to be Christian) voted for this idiot!

Default Men in dresses

I never take seriously anything said by men who insist on wearing dresses in public.

Barack Obama and Joe Biden: The Change We Need

fact check on Obama and abortion.
I'd rather my taxes support abortion than war.

And who would have done that? Certainly not you - last time we "danced", I believe the humiliation was on you.
