That is not what this country stands for, and anyone that supports this kind of action by this country is a f-ing traitor, and needs to find a country to move to that meets their level of barbarism and violation of law.
There you go. I think they should take him to Ashville, launch a big parade to welcome him and give him a job as a cable T.V. installer.
It was initially a request by the Obama Administration to delay the hearings....the next day they sent a Presidential order to cease the proceedings..... so the Judge is defying the President and the law.
From the order.
Sec. 7. Military Commissions. The Secretary of Defense shall immediately take steps sufficient to ensure that during the pendency of the Review described in section 4 of this order, no charges are sworn, or referred to a military commission under the Military Commissions Act of 2006 and the Rules for Military Commissions, and that all proceedings of such military commissions to which charges have been referred but in which no judgment has been rendered, and all proceedings pending in the United States Court of Military Commission Review, are halted.
If a Judge can't follow the law then have him removed.
separation of powers; executive, legislative, and judicial

Interesting scenario though. The judge is disobeying a request from his Commander in Chief. I actually agree with him, but don't think that's a very good career move if you're an officer in the military.
