I don't like to jump to conclusions but it seems that certain southern areas of the state just have it in for minorities and poor whites.

If you read the article how can you come to any other conclusion, except their was a conspiracy with the police, dental "expert", and the prosecutor.
It seems that once the system has you in it's sights, it's going to get you one way or another. Even if it has to lie.

I really don't know how bite marks on arms could be considered conclusive evidence. It's soft tissue, and won't leave an exact mark.

Sounds to me like the prosecution wanted a conviction, so they did whatever was necessary to get one.
