Unarmed teen tries to carjack a police officer in a marked police car with it's lights flashing. Even though the teen was unarmed, he tried to demand the officers weapon and car. Someone please take this person out of the gene pool before he reproduces!

You know as well as I do: there's always someone out there to claim the title of World's Dumbest Criminal. What we ought to do is start a pool to see how long it takes until the next claimant makes his or her move.

I'm surprised the broadcast networks didn't do their own dumb criminal program. It'd be cheap to make and produce, make it an hour long, one episode a week, and they won't need to pay writers since the criminals write their stuff for them. Right now the only program like that is The Smoking Gun Presents The World's Dumbest Criminals. It's hosted by a group of former celebrities who've been in trouble with the law before.
