What do people think about that commercial with the woman in a black pantsuit pushing Big Oil's agenda? Does what she says make sense, or is it merely "Drill, Baby, Drill" propaganda? She seems to be on commercials for the Sunday/cable news shows constantly. What is really her point?

Her point is the more oil we produce here at home (combined with conservation), the less we will need to import, IMO. The oil industry also creates LOTS of jobs in Texas, Louisiana, and Alaska.

Her point seems to be 'don't complain about how much money the oil companies are making, you're getting something out of it too'...because so many IRAs and mutual funds carry energy stocks. If you believe that...

She'd be better served if she were wearing a tight mini skirt.

I work in the oil industry. For one moment, stop looking at the left wing agenda and take a look at how much oil companies do for America.
Yes, I agree they make a huge amount of profits, but they provide well paying jobs to millions. How many well paying jobs has wal-mart or burgerking created? Plus when the oil industry does well, there are so many other areas that boom. Construction, development, universities (donations). I rather drill for oil here thus creating a job for an American, Sell the oil here to another American. The Magic battery car is at least 20 years away. Why not develop more fuel efficient vehicles today, at the same time slowly move away from imported oil? Is the left wing so Anti-Sucess that they look for something negative about every industry? in the Leftwing world what is a good industry? there is not a huge market for tree-hugging, tie-dyed shirts, or friendship beads. (those beads are made in china)
