I had this conversation before the war in Iraq started with a republican.

That's the problem with people in the US not understanding the concepts of socialism, capitalism, etc.
I was laughing hearing republicans say: "Let's take over Iraq and take their oil"
I kept on thinking: "Do you get ANY money from all the oil that the US produces and sells every single day?"

I Thought We Were Going To Make A Bloody Fortune On Stolen Iraqi Oil

We did. We start sending the checks out next week...$13 a week for a year.

No we had to borrow that since the republicans practically put us in bankruptcy.
