in the math the obama WH is using.

Ben Smith's Blog: Projected jobs numbers don't quite add up - Politico.com

Quote:
A White House estimate of the number of jobs stimulus legislation will create includes some sharp discrepancies between state and local jobs claims.

Those differences -- which the document suggests are large rounding errors -- was spotted by the office of House Minority Whip Eric Cantor, which assembled the chart above. It comes as the White House is seeking to define the stimulus package as a jobs bill, and to focus locally on the jobs it will create.
Good lord! Are these people for real? How can such "top notch" people obama has surrounded himself with make such juvenile mistakes?

Wasn't Eric Cantor supporting a $450 billion "tax cut" plan that would create 6.2 million jobs? (In the last go around by republicans, back in 2003, $726 billion tax cut was supposed to create 1.4 million job over ten years and all it did was worsen the debt situation... thank God it was chopped down in half to sane levels).

That was unreal. Eric Cantor is an idiot (like pretty much the entire leadership currently at GOP). Where is Ron Paul? I don't like his ideologies, at least he is honest and predictable, a true conservative I might add. But hey, republican voters are easy sell to a bunch of jokers (only to come back and complain about it later).

Republicans managed to turn a mild recession in 2001, into one with a long winded job recovery cycle despite showing decent economic growth on paper, a reason this 2003 tax stimulus was being considered. They need to shut up and go take a cold shower.
