The White House on Tuesday provided more details on how the American Recovery and Reinvesment Act will save or create 3.5 million jobs as part of the recently enacted $789 billion stimulus package.
The Obama Administration claims that the legislation will create or save 3.5 million jobs over the next two years. The White House says jobs will be created in a range of industries ranging from clean energy to health care. More than 90 percent of these jobs will be in the private sector.
Supporters of the stimulus bill say the funds will lead to investments in infrastructure, education, health care, alternative energy and jobs in Texas.
