Dee62, you are making an unnecessary fuss, I'm afraid. Pretty and Pimp are different people. Somehow when you make your quotes you pull them up differently than most--hence the confusion.

Remember to use the open and close quote to keep things cleaner, even if not always correct. Okay.

Please justify the threat of closing a thread based on the discussion Politics and other controversies, it appears to me and I think it would appear to any reasonable judgement that any controversy fits the description.

Let this be the final post on this worn out thread.

1. There are people who see the Confederate flag as a part of their history of either their homeland or ancestors, or both, and they choose to honor it by flying this flag or displaying however they please.

2. There are people who find this flag as offensive.

Does everyone agree with the above statements?

Agreed. With one addendum:

No matter what anachronistic sympathies a minority group of individuals has for a traitor's symbol, it has no place flying above any public institution.
