It seems like a lot of Liberals fail to understand why so many Americans are angry with Obama. Lately, I have been very angry with him also and I am more of a Libertarian. I totally understand why Conservatives are angry with Obama and they have plenty of reasons to feel the way they do!

1) The United States of America WAS never about Socialism or anything close to it. What makes America so GREAT is the fact that we are not like Germany or Sweden!

2) Big government is totally incompatible with the United States. We were never created to be a nanny/welfare state.

3) Punishing success with higher taxes or penalties is totally contrary to what this country is about.

4) Universal health care-where some people pay for the care of others is another concept which is totally foreign and unamerican, such ideas have
absolutely nothing to do with what this country was founded on.

I think if more Liberals understood the history of this country, they would be just as outraged. Obama is basically undoing everything that has made this country great for the last 200 years.

Many people would disagree that this country has been great for the last 200 years.

Default You are exactly right and then some!

Well said and thanks for the post. I am so frustrated and worried not knowing where all this will end and what kind of a future we are leaving for those who will have to deal with this when we are gone. I understand that he "inheirited" alot of problems but making it bigger will not make it go away.

Be fair...he isn't undoing it all by himself nor is he the first.
He is just continuing down the same road his previous compatriots had already paved.
He does have the current conditions helping him do more and with greater speed and less resistance in the name of 'crisis'.

Default P.s.

I was agreeing with Repbucrat, and just because it hasn't been great or perfect doesn't mean we have to COMPLETELY destroy it for OUR kids and grandkids. Wake up Americal.

Obama 68% approval rating.
Republican Party 26% approval rating.

Old_cold I agree, he isn't doing it by himself but certainly has a hand in it and is leading the pack.

No, we just dispute the "fact" that anyone other then dire hard Republican partisans are angry. The fact is the President's approval rating is HIGHER THEN EVER! Literally he had his highest approval rating just two days ago showing an amazing 70% of Americans approve of what he's doing and his policies. That just leaves the old Bush 30% in opposition, those are the numb skulls who supported Bush right up until the end. Those people are just completely out of touch with reality and the wishes of the vast majority of the American people.

If anyone other then the die hard Republican hacks are unhappy then Obama wouldn't be getting a 70% approval rating just like the Democrats in Congress wouldn't be getting a 60% approval rating. Your attempts to claim that the "American people" don't approve of Obama's course of action smells like the bull schit it is. Your claims don't pass the laugh test.

BTW I notice this is your second thread on this topic in 24 hours. I guess it is because you got so completely pwnd in your first one that you ran away from it and then started a second one on this identical subject. Don't you have any integrity? Why not try to defend your wild claims in the other thread rather then running away when you lose only to start a new thread about the same BS claim? I think we have your modus operandi pegged, Republicrat.

I love how some pick and choose the highest possible approval rating for Obama....Gallup has Obama at 61% approval rating down 1 point and a 28% disapproval rating up 2 points

Ramussen has Obama with a 60% approval rating as of yesterday.

Its like some are going out and searching for the highest possible approval rating they can find.
