Boxer Seeks to Ratify U.N. Treaty That May Erode U.S. Rights - Presidential Politics | Political News - FOXNews.com

This is absolutely disgusting ... but honestly, I'm not surprised that it's being proposed by somebody like Boxer. If this nonsense actually passes, it will give "rights" to children to retaliate, and even give them the powers to start lawsuits against their own parents. Basically, it strips the parents of the job of raising children, and puts it in the hands of government. Everybody (parent or not) should be outraged at this b.s.

What really irritates me about those like Boxer, Hillary Clinton, etc. is their attitude that children somehow have the same rights as adults. Furthermore, they are purely hypocritical because they claim they want kids to have more "protection" ... then they turn around and want to give them rights which they don't have or deserve. Sorry, but it can't be both ways. You can't shelter kids and give them freedoms at the same time. That's about the same as giving people the "right" to smoke dope, then trying to "protect" them from the serious effects.

I'm a Democratic parent and I don't support this treaty.
